Euros Cause Iraq War

I just happened upon Robert Newman’s History of Oil. I am not sure why it took me so long to find it or why I was so unfamiliar with the Euros argument, but I am now informed. Essentially, it proposes that a reason that the US illegally invaded Iraq is to flex its hegemonic muscles to make an example of any country not choosing to make oil transactions in US dollars, a policy in place since the early 1970s. More reasons can be found here. I will review these as time allows.

  1. Thanks for dropping in. I see that you see the threat from Euro’s. If the Oil industry ( Arabs and their affiliates ) convert the market to Euro’s the U.S. knows they are screwed. It’s good to find someone who does their research!
